“The results...were nothing short of outstanding, from demolition to completion. Every single person who had a role in this job was competent and professional, and the attention to detail and ensuring that every single part of the job was done right and well were admirable—and something that is far too uncommon these days.”

“How do I fix a leaky faucet?”
Stop watching money go down the drain with a leaky faucet. Start by cleaning away any mineral deposits on the faucet exterior that may be compromising the faucet’s seal. If the leak persists, and you’re not confident in your plumbing expertise, call Horton Plumbing to let our experienced plumbers find and stop the leak source today. We carry a wide selection of new faucet fixtures, including the popular Kohler, Delta, Moen and Grohe brands.
“My neighbor just experienced a sewer backup—should I be worried?”
Perhaps. If neither you nor your neighbor has ever replaced your sewer pipes, chances are they are around the same age and operating in similar ground conditions. If your neighbor’s pipe is suffering tree root damage, for instance, it’s likely that your yard has roots intruding in your sewer pipes as well. The only way to know for sure? Ask Horton Plumbing to conduct a sewer pipe camera inspection. We’ll evaluate the security of your existing sewage piping and determine if there are any near-fail areas of concern. Get a clear view of exactly what condition your sewer pipes are in before you experience a costly basement sewer backup with the Horton Plumbing sewer pipe camera inspection!
“Is a tankless water heater right for me?”
Tankless water heaters save energy by only heating the water you need to use when you need to use it. Although slightly more expensive than a traditional water heater to purchase initially, a tankless water heater could save you money over the life of the appliance by saving on energy costs and decreasing water wastage. If a tankless water heater sounds like it may fit your family’s needs, call Horton Plumbing for a wide selection of tankless water heaters, including models from the popular brand Rinnai, for purchase and installation.
"I woke up this morning to a cold shower. How can I get my hot water heater working again?"
If your home has an electric water heater, check to make sure the circuit breaker for the appliance is not tripped at the electric panel. If it’s a gas water heater, confirm that the pilot light is lit. If your hot water heater is still not working properly, call Horton Plumbing at 734-455-3332 to have a plumber examine the problem. We carry a wide selection of new hot water heaters, including the popular Bradford White, Lochinvar and Rinnai brands.
“We’re going on vacation over the winter holiday. How can I be sure my pipes won’t freeze?”
Nothing is worse than returning home to a flooded home. Ensure you won’t experience cold-weather pipe bursting by turning off your water whenever you leave home for more than a few days. If you do experience frozen or burst pipes, call Horton Plumbing at 734-455-3332 any time of the day or night, seven days a week, for emergency plumbing service.
"My disposal isn’t working? What could be wrong?"
Check first to make sure the unit is plugged in. Then confirm that the circuit breaker for that appliance is not tripped at the electric panel. Finally, observe the re-set button on the bottom of the disposal—if it is popped out, the unit needs to be re-set. If your disposal is still not working properly, call Horton Plumbing at 734-455-3332 to have a plumber examine the problem. We carry a wide selection of new garbage disposals, including the popular InSinkErator brand.
"How do I unclog a toilet?"
Use a plunger to unclog a toilet. First push down slowly, centering on the drain hole. Pull up rapidly to unclog the obstruction. If the clog persists, call Horton Plumbing at 734-455-3332 to have a plumber examine the problem. We carry a wide selection of new toilets, including the popular Kohler, and Toto brands.
“I just bought a new toilet at Home Depot. Can I install it myself?"

Leave the hard work to us! Call 734-455-3332 to have your new toilet installed today! We carry a wide selection of new toilets, including the popular Kohler, and Toto brands.
